Mr. Preston "Frank" Robert Simms, Jr. of West Tampa, Florida passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2019. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, November 2nd, at 11:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa. Repast will be held immediately after the service at the Jackson Heights Recreation Center, 3310 E. Lake Ave, Tampa, FL 33610.
Mr. Simms, a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, attended Thomas Jefferson High School. He was predeceased by his parents: Preston Robert Simms, Sr. and Debra Simms (Mason); Grandmother: Bernice Mason; Godmother: Lessie Taylor; and Daughter: Denise Sirmons.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his Brother, Robert Simms; Children, Lakeisha Simms, JoyTricia Burr, Preston Simms III, and Prince Simms; Grandchildren, Shana Sirmons, Ryan Simms, and Tyler Simms; Aunt, Tanya Mobley; Nephews and Nieces, Robert Simms, Jr., Travis Pinkney, Marlisa Candis, and Drucilla Simms; Special Friends, Joe Bell, Ellis Daniley, Mike Echols, Robert Fennell, Dan Mathis, Sherron Small, George Smith, and Butch Taylor; and a host of Cousins, other Relatives, and Friends.
The remains will repose after 5 p.m. Friday, November 1 at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.
