Mrs. Queen Ester Wilson of Tampa, Florida passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, June 5 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 4008 E. Cayuga Street with Reverend Michael White, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. Masks are required.
Mrs. Queen E. Wilson was a resident of Tampa for 60 years and was a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. She was employed as an Omelet Chef for 25 years at Marriott Hotel.
Mrs. Queen Ester Wilson was born to Johnnie and Corine Hamilton on March 4, 1934 in Walterboro South Carolina. She was educated in Colleton County public schools. She was married to Otis Wilson, Sr. for 35 years.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Johnnie and Corine Hamilton and husband, Otis Wilson, Sr.; children, Al Monroe Doctor, Thomas Doctor and Michael Wilson.
She leaves behind to cherish her precious memories: her brother, Charles Hamilton; sisters, Viola Ferguson and Lorraine Hamilton; children, Otis Wilson, Jr. (Shirley), Donald Wilson (Delia), Linda Hines (Michael) and Jackie Green (Vernin); grandchildren, Chantel and Sabrina of New York, Courtney, Cherrell, Cedric, Robert, Jr., Ryan, Roger, Jr., Donald, Kelly, DelVecchio, Delliot, Delvon, Delryn and Delmetrice; 32 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
The remains will repose from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, June 4 at Ray Williams Funeral Home. Masks are required.
