Mr. Rodney Jershawn Everett of Seffner, FL passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 19 at 2 p.m. at Tampa Life Church, 10930 US Hwy 301 North, Thonotosassa, FL, Senior Pastor Robert Tisdale with Pastor Jesse H. Smalley II, officiating. Interment will follow in Mayberry Cemetery. Please follow the CDC guidelines. Masks are required.
Mr. Rodney Jershawn Everett affectionately known as “Hot Rod” or “Big Country” was a native of Tampa, Florida. He was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Armwood High School, Class of 2001. He furthered his education at Northwood University, Midland, MI where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and he also attended Florida A & M University.
Mr. Everett was employed by Pepin Distributing Company for 9 years.
He was preceded in death by: grandparents, Mercy Lee Jackson Spann and Grady Earl Spann (Jimmy), and Frank Everett Sr.; great grandparents, Carrie Bell Culver Spann and George W. The remains will repose from 3-7 p.m., Friday, September 18, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue. We are asking family and friends to follow the CDC guidelines. Masks are required.
