Sallie Lecount Obituary

Mrs. Sallie LeCount of Tampa, left earth to make Heaven her home on Sunday, January 3, 2021. A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 16, at 12:00 p.m. at Orange Hill Cemetery, 4900 E. Chelsea Street, Tampa, FL 33610 with Bishop Saughanto Austin, officiating.  We are asking family and friends to follow the CDC guidelines.  Masks are required.   

Mrs. LeCount was a native of Indianola, Mississippi, she was born to the union of Mr. Johnnie and Moeal Moore and was educated in Sunflower County, Mississippi and in Tampa, Florida. Mrs. LeCount moved to Tampa over 64 years ago and was a dedicated employee of Moffitt Cancer Center where she retired. 

Sallie was preceded in death by: the love of her life loving husband, Cludner LeCount Sr.; her parents, Johnnie & Moeal Moore; son, Larry Isaac; siblings, Willie Moore, Johnnie Moore, Mable Ball, Robert Lee Moore, Louella Taylor, and Shirley Moore.   

She leaves to cherish her memory: children, A.D. (Catanya) Moore, Ola (Llalando) Austin, Wanda (Joseph) Forbes, Michael Isaac, Tylus Isaac (Kim), Jerome LeCount, LaQueta LeCount, and Clunder LeCount Jr.; grandchildren, Ykinena Simmons, Marlena (Michael Sr.) Reddin, Marvin Simmons Jr., Joseph Forbes, Kiowana Forbes, Robert Taylor (Galloway), Tylanda Anderson, Briana Forbes, Arron Howard, Marcus Forbes, Angel, Llalando II, and Jonathan Austin; great grandchildren: Jemirrah Brown, Ilexis Brown, Mikecica Reddin, Antruanazia (Antonio) Shaw, Mekhiya Simmons, Michael Reddin Jr., Antruan Owens, Torry Brown, Marinique Reddin, Jermaine Forbes, Jorion Forbes, Caila Forbes, Christiney Ramsey, Chrishanti Ramsey, Chauncey Anderson, and Camille Okoli; siblings, Daniel “Pete” (Earlene) Moore, Lena (Carl) Regis, Bobbie Moore, Jackie (Lisa) Moore, Albert Moore, Mary (Gerald) Moore, and Brenda (Horace) Donald; sisters-in-law, Christine Moore and Elease Moore; God-daughters, Dee Dee Muldrow and Terria Mann; best friends, Louise Brown and Sharon Canada; special friend/niece, Tangela Apata and a host of sorrowing great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. 

The remains will repose from 3-7 p.m. on Friday January 15th at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N Howard Avenue. We are asking family and friends to follow the CDC guidelines.  Masks are required.
