A nurturing wife, mother and friend, Sanatera was a native of Tallahassee, Florida and a resident of Tampa for many years. She always loved children, dedicating most of her life to nurturing her own blended family of six children, seven god-children and countless other children she cared for as a veteran leader within the Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Tampa.
Her active participation in groups like Young Life, the YMCA and the numerous sports-related community efforts she tirelessly worked to support.
She was preceded in her transition to heavenly rest: by her loving mother, Carmen Brown Johnson, loving mother-in-law, Falstine Isaac, maternal and paternal grandparents and several other close family members.
She leaves behind: a loving husband, Charles “Chuck” Isaac; grateful children, Charles Isaac Jr., Jamari Johnson, Chesney Isaac, T’erra Johnson, Akari Issac, and SanTonyo Isaac; a devoted father, Samuel Nathaniel Johnson (Melinda); siblings, Marqus Johnson, and Garrett Johnson (Candace); aunts, Belinda Strawder (Arthur) and Winton Brown; great uncle and aunt, Edward and Frances Jennings; nieces and nephews, Machelle Mullins, De’veon Johnson, Taylor Johnson, Lawrence Johnson and Audrey Johnson; cousins, Sharn Quince, Edwina Prayon (Michael), LaDell Andrews, Linton Strawder, Herbert Simmons, Brenda Thomas, Ryan Mcgee (Cassandra), and Walter Jennings (Charmaine); many more loving family members, friends and members of the community join in celebrating her life.
The visitation will be from 4 -7 p.m. Friday, April 2nd, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 North Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
