Sheldon Davis

Mr. Sheldon D. Davis of Thonotosassa, Florida passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021.   Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, June 19 at 4:00 p.m. at Allen Temple AME Church, 2101 N. Lowe Street, Tampa, FL 33605 with Reverend Ervin McKinzie, officiating.  MASKS ARE REQUIRED.

Mr. Davis was a native of Polk County, Florida and a resident of Tampa for 42 years.  He attended Gaither High School.  He was employed at Kiewit Corporation as a Pipe Welder.

Mr. Sheldon Davis was born on August 12, 1968 in Polk County, Florida to Mary Ann Harrison and Robert James Davis.  He enjoyed football especially the Dallas Cowboys and loved music, especially Tupac.

He was preceded in death by his:  grandparents, Birtha McKinzie and David McKinzie; sister, Nikita Davis; and niece, Roeisha Williams.

He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories with:  his only daughter, Ciera Davis; granddaughter, Ariyannah; son, Travante Davis; sisters, Edna and Shandriah Davis and Kissie Davis; brothers, Terrance Davis, Deante Phillips and Javar Ollins; uncles, Darrell (Mary), Ervin (Lenora); aunties, Partricia (Edwin) and Lolita (Jeanette); nephew, Marcus Davis (Marqushia); cousins, Kinesha Johnson, Alvin Erica Davis, Sean Lee and Alona Simmons; special lifelong friend, Shondanette Hepburn; long-time friend and baby mama, Twanda; devoted long-time friends, Ronnie, “The Marcus Family”, Black Pop, Hank, CB and The College Hill Crew; devoted friend and longtime neighbor, Melissa and a host of other devoted relatives and friends.

There will be no viewing or visitation on Friday, June 18.  Viewing will be held on Saturday, June 19 at the Funeral Service.
