Steadman McHayle

Mr. Steadman Izet McHayle, of Tampa, Florida, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021.  Funeral services will be held, Saturday, September 25, 2021, at 3:00pm at Greater Mount Carmel AME Church, 4209 N. 34th Street, Tampa, FL 33610. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. McHayle was a native of Westmorland, “Big Woods,” Jamaica; he was a resident of Tampa for 48 years. He was a faithful member of Greater Mt. Carmel Church.  He was employed by the City of Tampa in the Public Works Department for 35 years, retiring in 2009.  

Mr. Steadman lived a hearty life; he will be greatly missed.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 42 years, Millicent McHayle; seven daughters; two sons; three brothers and one sister; 16 grand and 16  great grandchildren and a host of sorrowing friends and family. 

The public viewing will be Thursday, September 23rd from 4pm until 7pm at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Ave, Tampa, FL 33606. MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
