Steve Holmes

Mr. Steve M. Holmes of Tampa passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020.  Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 28 at 4:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel. 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606 with Reverend Prentiss Davis, officiating.  Interment will be held Monday, March 30 at 11:00 a.m. at the Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW  102nd Avenue, Bushnell, Florida 33513.

Mr. Holmes was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida.  He was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Leto High School.  He enlisted into the United States Army and served until honorably discharged.  Mr. Holmes was employed as a Loader with UPS. 

He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving parents, Mr. Samuel Holmes and Mrs. Hermie Holmes; brother, David and Angeletta Holmes; sister, Judie Holton; nieces and nephews, Michelle, Christopher, Angel, Regina, Syreeta, and Shandra; best friend, Gary Adams and wife Marian, Russell Adams and wife Karen; Godchildren, Ashley, Gary, Brittany, Amber, Krystal, Jasmin, Tremel, Julian, Jamille, and Jermaine; friends, W. C and Jerome; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

The visitation will be held on Friday, March 27, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33606.  Visitation hours have been extended and we are asking family and friends to pay their respects and to follow the CDC guidelines limiting gatherings of no more than 50 people.  Arrangements entrusted to RAY WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME, Rhodes & Northern, Owners.
