Obituary

Sundiata Unniqi El also known as Clevern Owen Taylor was born December 11, 1962, in Gainesville, Florida the son of the late Cleophus Taylor and Late Geneva Thompson Taylor. Sundiata transitioned peaceful in his sleep to the Realm of Ancestors on Sunday, April 17, 2022, after long 9 months battle with illness. 

Sundiata lived most of his life in Tampa-Carver City.  He graduated high school in Hawaii and immediately went into the United States Marines at 17. He worked at James A Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa, Florida.

Sundiata was an herbalist, healer, martial arts artist who he loved to learn and teach his children boxing, martial arts, cooking, and higher spiritual knowledge. He was a great protected, provider, amazing father, wonderful husband, and a great friend.

He loved reggae and jazz music. He was a great warrior who fought bulls. Sundiata is a powerful, warm, intelligent, and wise spirit that carried conversation with easy with all he met.

Sundiata loves his progenies and always wanted them to be their higher selves. Sundiata had wonderful, powerful thundering voices that will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Sundiata is now watching over his beloved consort, Anuket Nesert Bennu El; his three beautiful and amazing progenies and legacies, Nefer Heka El, Sekhmet El, and Ptah El.
