Brother Ta’Veon Calloway of Tampa, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021. The Homegoing Celebration for Brother Calloway will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at First Union Missionary Baptist Church, 3707 E. Chelsea Street, Tampa, Florida 33610, with Rev. B.E. Garmon, Sr., officiating. MASKS RECOMMENDED.
The oldest of two children, Ta'Veon was born January 28, 2003, in Tampa, Florida to Tenesia Calloway and Juvon Mosley. He attended Gary Vocational School and was employed at Hungry Howie’s Pizza. Ta'Veon was a member of First Union Missionary Baptist Church where he played Drums for the Youth Ministry and the Special Chorus.
He was preceded in death by his father, Juvon Mosley; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Willie J. and Betty J. Calloway; aunts, Erma Jean Echols, Angalia Tabor and Stephine Monroe; cousin, Cyenna Watts.
Ta'Veon leaves to cherish his memories, son, Marcellus Calloway; mother, Tenesia Calloway; brother, Ka'Von Calloway; maternal grandmothers, Carol Baptise and Deaconess Sarah Barnum; grandfather, Deacon Robert Barnum, Jr.; uncles, Damien Jackson (Bridgett), Evan Calloway, Deacon Willie Frank Williams (Mildred), Shawn Calloway (Pam), Gerald Calloway, Derick Calloway and Deacon Joe Echols; great great uncle, Elder Earl Mosley (Marie); aunt, Kim Williams; special cousins, Khadijiah Boone, Sentavia Tabor, Shaikara Monroe, Shaquayla Monroe and Willie Monroe, Jr.; other cousins include the Echols, Barnum, Calloway, Williams and Mosley Families; The Calloway Nation; Special Friends, Sister Hattie Hooks and Rev. James and Sis. Cookie Thompkins; and God brother, Lawrence Holton.
Visitation for Brother Ta'Veon Calloway will be held Friday, January 14, 2022, at First Union Missionary Baptist Church, 3707 E. Chelsea Street, Tampa, Florida 33610, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. MASKS RECOMMENDED.
