Ve’Tallian "Tally" Odom

A Celebration of Life for Mr. Ve’Tallian Marcele Odom, “Tally”, of Tampa (Carver City), Florida, who passed away on September 1, 2020, will be held Saturday, September 12th, 2 p.m. at Allen Temple A.M.E. Church, 2101 Lowe St., with Reverend Dr. Glenn Dames, Pastor, Apostle Otis Cooper, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Ve’Tallian Marcele Odom was a native of Tampa, Florida. Tally was a 2009 graduate of Jefferson High School. He was a longtime employee of McDonald’s Casper Company and currently employed at Jimbo’s BBQ. Tally was a genuinely loved gentle giant, who enjoyed hanging in his neighborhood with family and friends and spending time with his daughter. 

He was preceded in death by: his Grandmother, Shelia King; Great-Great Grandmother, Mattie Bethune; Great-grandmother, Ada Jo Bethune; Uncle, Ronald Bethune; and Aunt, Deborah Murphy-Bethune.

The remains will repose from 3-7 p.m., Friday, September 11, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.
