Mr. Willie Floyd Williams of Tampa passed away Monday, June 15, 2020. A Graveside service will be conducted Saturday, June 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue with Pastor Antwain Williams, Sr., officiating. Interment will follow. Please follow the CDC guidelines.
Mr. Willie Floyd Williams was a native of Abbeville, Alabama, born to Martha Preston Walker and John Henry Williams. He moved to Naples, Florida for a short time then relocated to Tampa, Florida where he has been a resident for 55 years. He was educated in the Public Schools of Collier County, Naples FL and was a Master Mechanic and the owner of Williams Auto Tech, both local and International locations to include: Florida, South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, and Naples, Italy.
Mr. Williams was also an avid fisherman and loved being on the water. His hobbies were playing Domino’s and cards with his friends that became family.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, John Henry Williams, Martha Walker and William Walker (Stepfather); and his brother, Cornelius Williams.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He leaves to cherish his memory: a devoted and loving wife of 39 years, Patsy Williams; daughter, Gina Bronson Jones; son, Antwain Williams Sr. and wife Kimberly; grandchildren, Darkeisha Bronson, DeMarcus Bronson and wife Porscha, Daisha Jones, Perry Jones IV, Alexis Williams, Antwain Williams Jr.; great grandchildren, Da’Onni Odom, Lloyd Pompey, Llendryck Pompey, Legend Moore, Empress Moore, and DeMarcus Bronson Jr.; brothers, James Earl Williams and wife June, John Williams and wife Alma, Robert Williams and Wendy; aunts, Annie Joette Holloway Jones, Zora Walker, Ida Lawson, and Mary ”Cat” Bulger; great aunt, Mary Ethel; sister-in-law, Paulette Baker Andrews and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family and friends.
The remains will repose from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 26 at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue. We are asking family and friends to follow the CDC guidelines.
