Mrs. Willie Myrl Wright of West Tampa passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at 2:00 pm at Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, 2002 N. Rome Avenue, Tampa, FL 33607 with Reverend Dr. C.T. Kirkland, officiating. MASKS ARE REQUIRED. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Willie Myrl Wright was a native of Abbeville, Alabama, a resident of Tampa for 57 years, and a member of Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Dr. C.T. Kirkland where she served in the Senior Women Mission. She was employed at Honeywell.
Mrs. Willie Myrl Wright was preceded in death by: her Husband, James Wright Sr.; Father, Reuben J Knight; Mother, Marie Walker-Knight; Daughter, Brenda D. Hill-Simpson; Brother, Robert Knight; Sister, Barbara Jo Knight; Nephew, James Washington; Brother-In-Law, George King; Sister-In-Law, Mary Sue Knight and Daughter-In-Law, Joan Hill.
