Winston Charles Marshall

Mr. Winston C. Marshall of Tampa, Florida passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021, 10:00 a.m. at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610 with Reverend Theodis Goggins III, officiating. 

Mr. Winston C. Marshall was born in Quincy, Florida on October 11, 1964 to Mr. Tom Marshall and Mrs. Cora Marshall. Winston joined First Union Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. After graduating from Tampa Bay Tech High School, he joined the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged.

Winston was preceded in death by: his mother, Mrs. Cora Marshall; brother, Ben Marshall; several aunts and uncles; two brothers-in-law and a host of other relatives.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted and loving wife of 38 years, Zena Marshall; a niece, raised as a daughter, Kiara Lee; a nephew, like a son, Rodney (Kayla) Dozier; Godson, Larry Thomas III; father, Tom D. Marshall; brother, Calvin (Anjetta) Marshall; like brothers, Jeffery Hill and Amp Perry; a devoted mother in-law, Annie Dozier; uncle, Charles Marshall; aunts, Rosa (Jessie) Harris, Lee Hardley, Jenette Marshall, Hattie McAllister, Delores Reid, Patricia Lanier and Ruthie (Douglas) Sampson; brothers-in-law, Anthony Goggins, Freddie (Renee) Goggins, Alton (Irene) Goggins, Henry Dozier and Steve Lee; sisters-in-law, Jennifer Marshall, Annie C. Dozier (Eric), Ronette Lee and Temica Dozier; devoted nephews, Myles Marshall, Michael Burkes, Marlow Burkes, Maurice Lewis, Charles Dozier, Jr., Earnest Butler, Steve Lee Jr., Theodis Goggins III, Marcus Goggins, Moses Goggins, Freddie Goggins, Jr., Alton Goggins, Jr., Ashley Goggins, Domnick Goggins and Robert Harris; special nieces, Qunay Marshall, Cherise Lee, Tiara Lee, Kesha Dozier, Kella Dozier, Mailyn Burkes, Antoinette, Evchen Goggins, Twanda Moore, Nikki Freeman and Angelica Newman; special family, Eunice Butts, Juan Moss, Chris Williams, Mary (Frank) White, Patrick McCray, David Mills and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.  MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
